stand up for the first time!
I just came back from my first set of stand up at an open mic in van nuys! It was aweeeesome!!! I can’t believe I got laughs! I went with an improv friend of mine, and he told me I killed and I feel like I did! I didn’t get all the laughs I wanted, but I got the few big laughs I needed. Oh lawwwwdy it feels good. I think I used my best three stories though. I gotta go back and work on some more stuff. I’m barely scratching the surface of the stand up comedy culture and I know there’s going to be a lot of shit nights where nothing gets a laugh, but right now I’m floating on clouds.
